I completely agree with and appreciate all that was said. So wonderful going against the grain. That said, my husband and I track each other for safety purposes and it gives me a lot of peace to know that if I’m in a weird location for too long, he will come to my rescue. I love the tracking feature for myself personally and don’t feel like it interferes with my “freedom” or raises my stress level in any way.

You guys are so much fun! I absolutely loved listening to this episode! It reminded me of my sisters and I (I’m the youngest of 6- 5 girls and 1 boy). Most of my sisters live in the UK and I’m all the way in Texas so I miss getting together so much. Thank you for making me smile today!

You have no clue how hopeless I have felt as a mom of a toddler with food allergies. Every single doctor has given me contradicting information, but they all seemed to agree on one thing: that she will likely never outgrow these allergies. God is GOOD, even when the circumstances are bad. It's been 10 months on the GAPS diet and by the grace of GOD, the HORRIFIC eczema that was on her cheeks has completely healed! It's hard being faithful when everyone is throwing doubt in your face. "Just listen to your doctor." Well how can I when every.single.one.of.them. is telling me something different? YET THEY ALL CLAIM THEY KNOW BEST. By the way, never once did anyone talk to me about her diet. "Are you going by the food pyramid recommendations?" (No). And that's been the extent of it. But God is good. Through sickness, he is sending healing. I pray that all parents who are desperate for healing come across this information. GOD IS GOOD.

Elizabeth is my coach!! Her program is wonderful!! She really helps you work through gaining positive strategies to be the mother God is calling you to be. I struggle with anger in my mothering and she helped me gain skills to have peace of mind!

I don't know if you will see this, but that big clunky entertainment center can be cut apart!! I saw great possibilities for several useful cabinets. Mary on WhiteCottageCompany did this with a discarded unit given to her & wow!!! Hope this helps.

I homeschooled my three in the 90's, and curriculum was always an issue. I primarily used Abeka, with little bits of Bob Jones. Back then it wasn't easy to find homeschooling networks in Wyoming and Colorado, and often found we were on our own, but in the end I had three well educated children, who grew to love education. All three have multiple degrees in varying subjects at this point (my youngest is 40).

This makes me smile. I have 7 kids, ages 11 down to 6 months. My youngest sister just had her 1st and I feel like we are giving our very similar advice ❤️❤️❤️

This is such a great conversation, definitely a favorite thus far.

I am really struggling with this! I am a widow to nine children and I am struggling with being bitter and angry especially when I have a child that spews hurtful angry things to purposely hurt or get a reaction. I have not been engaging in his anger, but it is still emotionally draining. I just wish it was me who went to heaven and not my husband so many times. I just want to get away for a while and not have to have the responsibility of everything weighing on my shoulders.

I love Dave Ramsey! So great that you were able to meet your financial goals! I will say most people who have issues with spending definitely need to budget. Looking at the statistics, I think there are more people in the “needing to do a budget” category than in the not needing.

I think what you were trying to say is " what happens when you give yourself too much self care? Like you're becoming selfish and selfcentered and need a reality check?" because 1) we can fall into this trap 2) we can believe we are doing this when we're not

This is encouraging to me. We are debt free except for our mortgage and would love to pay it off. Getting more serious about having a budget. Cooking from scratch will help us stretch our grocery budget now that I have the tools I need (grain mill, kitchenaid mixer etc) and pantry staples
